Qualifications

• 3+ years of Java development experience.
• Experience with Spring or Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or Db2.
• Experience with Git and a build tool such as Maven or Gradle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with standard office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develops, tests and maintains Java application code.
• Builds and updates web services and REST APIs.
• Writes SQL to work with relational databases.
• Fixes defects and supports production issues.
• Writes unit tests and participates in code reviews.
• Participates in sprint planning, stand-ups and Agile ceremonies.
• Documents code and technical changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
