Job summary

In this role you will work across UI, backend modules, and Java runtime updates, influencing speed and reliability of a critical platform in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with Java and J2EE (client and server).
• Experience in object-oriented analysis/design, distributed systems, real-time processing, relational databases, and messaging.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms and GoF design patterns.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and test-driven development.
• Experience with core business logic within applications.
• Experience in developing APIs and frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and troubleshooting exercises of extreme complexity, requiring research and analysis.
• Drive system design, specifications, program logic, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Make critical design choices guiding development teams.
• Lead complex programming tasks with thorough review of efforts and docs.
• Analyze problems and recommend effective solutions.
• Engage with clients and technology teams to develop robust solutions.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and infrastructure on strategic designs.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex issues in development and production for timely resolution.
