Job summary

Findev is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the Investment Accounting / Positions team, focusing on middle-office transformation. You will build on-prem and cloud-based solutions to capture trades and calculate positions, collaborating with hedge fund teams and other stakeholders to deliver accurate, near real-time data for positions, P&L, and performance.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of programming experience, with 5+ years in Java and exposure to Kafka, caching (Memcached/ Ignite),

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar.
• 8+ years of programming with at least 5+ years of Java experience.
• Experience with Kafka or other real-time messaging systems.
• Experience with distributed caching technologies (Memcached, Ignite).
• Strong SQL/database query skills.
• Ability to learn from code and reverse engineer independently.
• Ability to work well independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based middle-office transformation software for real-time data.
• Collaborate with hedge fund business teams and technology groups.
• Deliver near real-time, accurate view of trades, positions, P&L, and performance.
• Build scalable, data-intensive distributed applications.
