Ideal candidates have 6–8+ years in Java/J2EE, AWS, RESTful services, Spring, and DB2, with mentoring experience and a background in the property and casualty insurance domain.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience in scalable applications.
• AWS, RESTful services, Spring ecosystem, and ORM frameworks required.
• Experience with WebSphere/JBOSS, ESB tooling, and QA with JUnit.
• DB2, SQL, XML proficiency; Unix shell scripting a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Java applications across the full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business and QA teams to translate requirements into design.
• Mentor junior developers and guide technical architecture decisions.
• Improve performance, security, usability, and reliability of systems.
• Provide production support and participate in deployments and upgrades.
