Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience with Java/J2EE, XML, DB2 and SQL.
• Proficiency with design artifacts such as class, sequence, and activity diagrams.
• Desirable: P&C insurance domain, WebSphere, JBoss, Mule ESB, Drools, JUnit, Hibernate/MyBatis, Spring, web services, Unix shell scripting.
• Experience designing and developing SOAP and REST web services.
• Frontend experience preferred with AngularJS.
• Knowledge of P&C homeowners or renters insurance.
• Strong IT concepts, architectures and modern tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Work with Business Analysts to translate requirements into design.
• Develop high-quality source code.
• Create unit test cases.
• Support functional and system integration testing and deployments.
• Integrate component designs.
• Support production and meet development schedules.
