Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United States is seeking a senior Java technical architect with 15+ years of progressive experience to lead modernizing unemployment insurance platforms. You will define scalable Java architectures, collaborate with partners, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive work experience as a Java technical architect.
• Experience in UI domain modernization for unemployment insurance is preferred.
• Ability to conceptualize solutions with partners and present to customers.
• Advanced knowledge of microservices and software architecture.
• Proficiency with Java ecosystems and related frameworks.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Google).
• Strong design patterns understanding and reporting tools experience.
• Hands-on leadership and ability to drive cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Meet with technology managers and design teams to discuss goals.
• Define current architectures and design scalable Java systems.
• Identify infrastructure needs to meet architectural goals.
• Troubleshoot design flaws and system bottlenecks.
• Perform validation tests for flexibility and scalability.
• Assist the design team with application integration.
• Conduct system performance tests and generate reports.
• Collaborate with Business, Build, Testing, and Customer SMEs.
• Introduce analytics, chat-bots and automation initiatives.
