Job summary

Altimetrik in the United States is seeking a senior Java engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in J2EE and enterprise-grade applications. You will design and implement microservices, REST APIs, and scalable backend services, leveraging cloud platforms and modern design principles.

You'll lead code reviews, drive test strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions using NiFi, Kafka, Zookeeper, Redis, Cassandra and Splunk.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including J2EE.
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs.
• Oracle Database expertise with complex SQL queries.
• Cloud-native experience on AWS or Azure; PCF knowledge.
• Strong understanding of SOLID, DRY, and SRP design principles.
• Proficient with NiFi, NATS, Kafka, Zookeeper, Splunk, Redis, Cassandra.
• Ability to lead end-to-end development, code reviews, and test strategy.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
