impact.com is expanding its Tracking team and seeking senior Java engineers to design and build scalable services and APIs that power high-volume tracking and commerce workflows for major brands.

In this hybrid role, you may contribute through hands-on delivery, technical leadership, or architectural ownership, with in-office days required twice weekly and opportunities for growth and RSU participation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering production software and collaborating with Product to ship features.
• Professional Java and Spring Framework development, backend services design, implementation, testing and operation.
• Comfortable in the Linux terminal and able to troubleshoot systems.

Responsibilities

• Own features from concept to production.
• Design, build, and evolve Java services, modules, and internal APIs for high-volume tracking and commerce workflows.
• Make sound technical decisions across service boundaries, data, reliability, and performance.
• Improve deployment, observability, scalability, and maintainability of applications and services.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.
• Integrate with external APIs and build clear interfaces for internal consumers.
• Share technical judgment through design discussions, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering leadership.
• Be part of a continuously improving, agile team.
