Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Senior Engineer for enterprise Java application development. You will design, develop, and maintain solutions across legacy and modern Java stacks, including WebSphere and MQ integrations.

The role demands 8+ years of experience, strong Core Java expertise, and hands-on JSP/Servlets, Struts, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot. Expect leadership in modernization and migration initiatives and proximity to the Auburn Hills tech ecosystem.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional Java/J2EE experience.
Hands-on with Core Java including OOP, collections, exception handling, multithreading, JVM fundamentals.
Experience with JSP/Servlets and Struts; Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
Experience with IBM WebSphere MQ and enterprise messaging/integration.
Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments and modernization projects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, maintain, and support enterprise Java applications.
Analyze existing legacy Java applications, their architecture, dependencies, and business functionality.
Work across legacy and modern Java stacks, providing guidance and solutions.
Develop using Core Java, JSP, Servlets, Struts, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
Troubleshoot performance, middleware, integration, and production issues.
Provide technical leadership during migration, transformation, and modernization initiatives.
