Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Senior Engineer for enterprise Java application development. You will design, develop, and maintain solutions across legacy and modern Java stacks, including WebSphere and MQ integrations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Java/J2EE experience.
• Hands-on with Core Java including OOP, collections, exception handling, multithreading, JVM fundamentals.
• Experience with JSP/Servlets and Struts; Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere MQ and enterprise messaging/integration.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments and modernization projects.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java/J2EE application development
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java (OOP, collections, exception handling, multithreading/concurrency, JVM fundamentals, performance)
• Hands-on experience with JSP and Servlets
• Strong experience with the Struts framework, including older versions
• Hands-on experience with Spring MVC
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and modern Spring-based development
• Understanding of Java Applet technology; ability to maintain/support legacy Applet-based applications
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server
• Experience with IBM MQ / WebSphere MQ and enterprise messaging/integration
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with application migration, modernization, refactoring, or technology transformation

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, maintain, and support enterprise Java applications

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year
