Job summary

Merative is seeking a software engineer to contribute to both existing and new product development under supervision. You will design, implement, and document software modules, perform unit tests, and participate in verification and validation activities for healthcare products.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and review product artifacts while advancing platforms for cloud and on‑premise deployments using Linux and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Primary programming languages and scripting: Java, Bash, Perl, Python, Go, Rust.
• Experience with Linux SuSE and healthcare interoperability (DICOM/HL7).
• 5+ years of software development in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform product development per Merge methodology and practices.
• Analyze requirements, design, and test software modules and create specifications.
• Implement modules and tests, and conduct verification/validation.
• Mentor team members and conduct peer reviews of artifacts.
