Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and build the next generation Fixed Income analytics platform. The role focuses on distributed service architecture, data-intensive computations, and end-to-end Java solutions.

You will work with AWS, Kafka, Spring, and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) in a cloud-enabled environment to deliver scalable analytics capabilities for fixed income products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS or Math preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing OO solutions using Java 8+.
• Advanced proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Kafka.
• Experience developing cloud-based solutions in AWS.
• Expertise with relational and distributed data stores (Oracle 19c, Cassandra).
• Hands-on containerized development with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to define functional and technical designs.
• Partner with engineering teams to architect and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement robust full-stack solutions using Java.
• Lead and contribute to Agile projects and iterations.
• Collaborate with QA to develop thorough test strategies for each release.
• Prepare system and training documentation as required.
• Demonstrate flexibility to align with project timelines and delivery.
• Provide technical programming support and SME guidance to teammates.
