Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and build a distributed analytics platform for fixed income.

You will collaborate across business and technology teams to architect, develop, and deploy scalable Java solutions in a cloud environment, with emphasis on test-driven development and robust documentation. The role requires hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring, Kafka, and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• Experience designing/object-oriented solutions in Java 8+.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Kafka.
• Evidence building solutions in AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with relational and distributed data stores (Oracle 19c, Cassandra).
• Hands-on containerized app development with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to define functional/technical designs.
• Architect and deliver end-to-end solutions with engineering teams.
• Design, develop, and implement robust full-stack Java solutions.
• Lead and contribute to Agile project initiatives.
• Collaborate with QA to establish test strategies for releases.
• Prepare system and training documentation as required.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work hours to meet timelines.
• Provide programming support and SME guidance to teammates.
