Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to drive modernization of a technology platform in the US. You will develop enterprise-grade applications using Java, C#, and microservices, while advancing AI-driven development practices.

The role emphasizes influencing technical direction, improving development practices, and delivering production-ready software with security and quality at the forefront. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in CS/engineering.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and React.
• Proficiency with Git, version control, and collaborative development.
• Strong object-oriented programming and design pattern knowledge.
• Experience in Agile environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, React, and modern practices.
• Ability to deliver production-ready software end-to-end.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Ability to validate AI-generated code with accountability.
• Strong architectural, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
