Job summary

Recru is seeking a Principal Software Engineer with 10+ years of software engineering experience and at least 1 year of hands-on AI engineering to lead technical direction across enterprise applications.

You will design scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React and cloud technologies, modernize legacy systems to microservices, and build AI-enabled capabilities with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and Azure OpenAI.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience.
1+ year of hands-on AI engineering experience.
Expert-level Java and Spring Boot.
Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, AWS Bedrock, or similar AI platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and technical strategy for enterprise applications.
Design and develop scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React, and cloud technologies.
Drive modernization of legacy applications to microservices and event-driven architectures.
Design and implement AI-powered solutions including RAG, AI agents, and LLM integrations.
Champion engineering best practices across CI/CD, testing, security, and observability.
Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
