Job summary

Beacon Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join its client partner's team. The role involves building scalable Java backends with Spring Boot and Kafka/Redis, and delivering Angular front-ends with accessible, responsive UI design.

You will participate in the full SDLC, unit test with JUnit and Playwright, and collaborate across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong Java and Spring expertise, experience with REST APIs, and familiarity with CI/CD

Qualifications

• Strong Java backend and Spring Boot experience with REST APIs.
• Hands-on in messaging queues, caching, and open APIs.
• Frontend skills with Angular and Typescript are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java backend applications for performance and scalability.
• Unit test and ensure code coverage using JUnit.
• Work with Spring Boot, messaging queues, caching; Kafka/Redis experience.
• Build and maintain Angular front-ends with responsive design.
• Create RESTful APIs for frontend-backend integration.
• Troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and robustness.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and DevOps for requirements and delivery.
• Keep up with trends and best practices in Java/Angular development.
• Participate in full SDLC and contribute to code quality standards.
• Leverage AI tools to speed development processes.
