Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. is seeking a Java developer to join a fast-paced team in Florida. You will build scalable web applications using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL, and Kafka, while maintaining clean code and robust testing practices.

The role includes Agile team participation, full development lifecycle ownership, and producing documentation for APIs and applications. Preferred candidates have a Master’s in CS and 0–1 year of Java coding experience, with exposure to Spring, Maven, React.js,

Qualifications

SDLC understanding and software development lifecycle familiarity.
Basic programming skills using OOP languages with knowledge of common APIs and data structures.
Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic SQL queries.

Responsibilities

Develop scalable web applications using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, SQL, NoSQL, Kafka.
Write clean and efficient code, ensuring maintainability and reusability.
Conduct testing to ensure application reliability.
Perform code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
Participate in an Agile Scrum team and own the full development lifecycle.
Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and APIs.
Ship to production: APIs, monitoring, CI/CD, security best practices.
Stay up to date with the latest Java technologies.
