Job summary

Luxoft Germany is seeking an experienced Java developer to work on a securities data platform across web, desktop, and services. You will develop features, prototype improvements, and help rewrite legacy components in Spring Boot and microservices.

The role involves cross-platform environments and collaboration with multiple teams. Responsibilities include CI/CD, monitoring, testing, and gaining deep understanding of distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial Java development experience.
• Strong Spring (Boot, IoC, MVC, AOP, Security, Data, JDBC, Test).
• SQL and relational databases (Oracle).
• Servlets, Servlet containers (Tomcat) and application servers (WebLogic).
• CI/CD with TeamCity or Jenkins.
• Linux experience and Bash scripting.
• Ability to dive into problems and implement best solutions with the team.

Responsibilities

• - Develop business and technical features for old and new applications.
• - Prototype ideas and plan migration of legacy components to Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.
• - Configure and maintain Windows and Linux environments.
• - Integrate components with internal and external client systems.
• - Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic).
• - Monitor applications, logs, metrics; manage CI/CD pipelines.
• - Automate routine with scripting; write tests (unit/integration/e2e).
• - Design distributed, scalable microservices and lightweight services.
