Job summary

Luma Financial Technologies is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and implement integrations with our platform, collaborating with engineers, product owners, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions. You will optimize performance, expand test coverage, and contribute to CI/CD, while supporting production and operating across time zones in a decentralized team.

Candidates should have 4+ years of experience, strong Java/Spring Boot skills, and familiarity with both

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
• Proven ability to write high-quality, maintainable code.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of microservices architectures and design patterns.
• Experience with production support and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude Code and AWS Kiro.
• Nice-to-have: React frontend experience.
