Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Senior Java Developer with Liferay knowledge for a 100% remote role. The position requires fluency in English and the ability to work on the European schedule.

Responsibilities include migrating content from OpenCms to Liferay DXP, creating multilingual sites, LDAP integration, theming, workflows, dashboards, and custom modules, plus daily team updates and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree or comparable through experience.
• 5+ to 10 years of Java development experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Angular, JSON, XML.
• Expert in Liferay CMS with migrations, themes, fragments, widgets, and modules.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Create a utility to import content from OpenCms to Liferay DXP.
• Create multilingual websites and manage LDAP users, groups, roles, and permissions.
• Create themes, layouts, page templates, and fragments based on WSG.
• Create workflows.
• Create user dashboards.
• Develop Liferay custom modules (portlets, hooks).
• Integrate Google search.
• Provide daily updates and collaborate with team members.
• Other related tasks as required.
