Visa Hunt is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a remote-ready team across the USA. This role requires 12+ years of software development experience with multiple languages and deep expertise in React, Angular, Node.js and PHP.

The candidate will guide architectural decisions and collaborate with product to drive scalable web and mobile solutions. You will mentor junior engineers, influence technical direction, and ensure APIs and design principles are applied consistently while maintaining

Qualifications

12+ years' experience in software development with multiple languages.
Experience defining architecture for web/mobile applications.
Strong APIs and design principles understanding.
Experience mentoring junior engineers.
Ability to influence architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

Provide clear technical roadmap and vision to the development teams.
Collaborate with Engineering management to create innovative software solutions.
Translate roadmaps to systems we build in collaboration with Product.
Ensure architecture and design consistency and integrity is maintained.
Identify and prioritize technical blockers and enablers.
Advocate for technical quality in prioritization discussions with the business.
Evaluate technologies, tools, and processes for a high-quality platform.
Communicate architecture plans, decisions, and goals to management.
Troubleshoot code level problems effectively and efficiently.
