Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a fully remote Java Developer for an international organization in Europe. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring, and be able to develop new and expand existing web-based functionalities.

Interviews will be conducted via Teams, travel is not required, and the role is long-term. Candidates must be able to work normal European office hours from a remote location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree.
• +5 years of Java and Spring experience.
• AWS knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in QA activities and iterative delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop using OO design principles and design patterns for reusability and maintainability.
• Implement detailed application design as provided by the Architect.
• Adhere to version control, build, release processes and coding standards.
• Participate in design and code reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Maintain technical documentation of development tasks.
• Identify risks in design and delivery with team members.
• Perform unit and integration tests and fix issues.
• Develop business systems using Java/J2EE framework.
