A mid-level Java Developer with strong Spring Boot and Microservices experience, combined with Equity/Trading domain expertise, who can build scalable, low-latency applications in a fast-paced financial technology environment.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an Associate Java Developer to join its Trading Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development experience and a background in Equity or Trading platforms, with expertise in building scalable microservices and supporting high-performance trading applications.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior engineers, quantitative teams, and product stakeholders to develop resilient execution and order management solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Core Java (Java 11+)
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
• Experience developing Microservices
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Strong SQL and/or NoSQL database experience
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, collections, and concurrency
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Domain Experience
