Job Description - Java

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to assist in application modernization. The candidate must have strong client-facing experience, excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Java 8 (and above), Maven, Spring, Spring Security, Web Services
• Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture and experience building RESTful services with Spring Boot
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, MySQL
• Knowledge of GIT, BitBucket, JIRA, JFrog, Jenkins, Nexus
• Proficiency with Docker
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, Atlassian stack)
• Deep understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, Clean Code, Refactoring, and Unit Testing
• Exposure to Application servers like WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss is preferred
• Familiarity with IDEs such as IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code
• Knowledge of Debugging, Postman, File Handling, Log4J, Threading

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test end-to-end web applications using Java backend and React frontend
• Integrate backend services and RESTful APIs
• Implement server-side logic using Java and Spring Boot
• Analyze requirements and user stories
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs during development

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MCA
• 7-12 years of relevant experience
