About the Role

This is a full-time role based in one of our US hubs or remote in the United States.

What You'll Do at Figma

1. Own projects from end-to-end, from ideation to implementation and impact measurement.
2. Collaborate across engineering and with cross-functional partners to drive outcomes and own the team's impact and goals.
3. Design new architecture and solutions to address immediate and broader needs.
4. Mentor engineers and shape the team's technical strategy, processes, and culture.
5. Assist in recruiting world-class engineers to Figma.

Who We're Looking For

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping features or products for 2+ years.
• A focus on impact, with measurable outcomes and metrics.
• Strong collaboration skills across teams and functions.
• Experience in and enthusiasm for teaching through pairing, code review, and feedback.

Nice to Have

• Experience with growth initiatives, experiments, or prototyping new products or ideas.
• Focus on building products that meet real user needs.
• Fluency in programming languages such as Typescript/Javascript, React, C++, Python, Ruby, or Java.
