Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Senior Java Developer in White Plains, NY, onsite four days a week, for a 12-month engagement. The role requires deep Java expertise to support high-volume, mission-critical systems across business lines.

You will collaborate with product owners and DevOps to design, develop, and maintain web applications with SOAP/REST services and robust databases. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in enterprise environments, strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Apache

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years building mission critical, high throughput systems.
• Experience with Core Java frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Apache Camel.
• Relational DB experience (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Aurora).
• Source control with Git and Subversion.
• SOAP/REST web services development and consumption.
• Performance tuning and optimization.
• Analytical, problem-solving mindset; self-driven; production-critical system experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design and develop applications and enhancements to meet requirements.
• Adhere to programming standards and enterprise architecture.
• Complete work assignments and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product owners, users, and other developers to design and build the web application.
• Assist in rollout of new applications, fixes, and enhancements.
• Support deployments and configuration across environments to production.
• Create technical and end-user documentation for applications.
• Support QA with automation and scripting needs.
