Job summary

Citi's Equity Finance Technology team in Tampa is seeking a development-focused professional to build and deliver on the Post Trade platform. You will work with technologists across geographies, delivering agile solutions in Java and related technologies.

You will review code, tackle high-impact issues, and apply your expertise to ensure architecture alignment while complying with risk and regulatory requirements. The role suits candidates with 3–6 years of development or analysis experience.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in Apps Development or systems analysis.
• Experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Exposure to AI solutions to accelerate development.
• SME in at least one area of Applications Development.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Flexibility to work with a global team, across geographies and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Engineer the capabilities for the Trading platform as per the book of work.
• Code review of development conducted by others.
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through evaluation of complex business processes and standards.
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure design adheres to architecture.
• Utilise advanced knowledge of system flow and develop coding/testing standards.
• Assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with laws, rules and Citi's policies.
