Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking engineers with practical development experience for a range of projects, from strategy and architecture to full life-cycle development and systems integration. You will work with frameworks such as Spring, Express, Django, or HAPI and contribute to cloud-native design and deployment.

Strong candidates have 5+ years with Java/Kotlin or Node.js, Spring, and AWS, plus SQL/NoSQL proficiency. Remote work is possible across the United States, with occasional travel for meetings.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience with Java/Kotlin or Node.js, Spring, and AWS.
• Fluency with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of networking and security (VPC, IAM roles, subnets).
• Bonus: Front-end experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks (Angular, React, VueJS).
• Bonus: Go, Scala, Hadoop, Spark, mobile native apps experience.
• Involvement in tech community is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide array of projects, from strategy and architecture engagements to full life-cycle development and systems integration.
• Design and development of cloud-native applications.
• Containerization and deployment with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, CloudFormation, Terraform.
