Job Description

As a Senior Software Developer / Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-grade applications and services using Java and Kotlin. • Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade applications using Java and Kotlin.

• Monitor application health through logging, alerting, and observability tools.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with both Java and Kotlin.

• Strong knowledge of application architecture and system design principles.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, scalability, resiliency, security, and performance optimization.
• Advanced experience with PostgreSQL, including: Relational data modeling, Schema design, SQL development, Indexing and query optimization, Transaction management, Database performance tuning.
• Ability to independently translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience owning the full software development lifecycle, including: Requirements analysis, Solution design, Architecture Development, Testing, Deployment, Production support.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, deployment processes, and release management.Experience supporting and maintaining applications in production environments.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and high-availability practices.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal technical oversight.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision‑making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing applications or automation solutions using Python.
• Experience using Python for scripting, data processing, integrations, tooling, or backend services.
• Familiarity with modern cloud‑native development practices and DevOps principles.
• Experience working within large‑scale retail, e‑commerce, or consumer‑facing technology environments.
