Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Naperville, IL is seeking an experienced Engineer to lead full-stack development in a Java and React environment. The role focuses on delivering cloud-native microservices, scalable APIs, and robust frontend components.

You will work with modern DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure, applying SOLID principles, testing, and observability practices to ensure reliable production systems and measurable delivery outcomes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• 10-12+ years of full-stack development with Java and React JS.
• Advanced Core Java, including JVM fundamentals and performance optimization.
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA; RESTful API development.
• Microservices, cloud-native, distributed and highly available architectures.
• React.js with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3; component-based design.
• SOLID, API-first design, enterprise integration patterns, and design patterns.
• Relational DBs (Oracle/DB2) and SQL; NoSQL (MongoDB/Cosmos); basic data modeling.
• Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/OpenShift; Azure or other cloud platforms.
• CI/CD pipelines with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, SonarQube.
• Automated testing with JUnit, Mockito; API/frontend testing frameworks.
• OAuth2/JWT, secure coding, secrets handling, vulnerability remediation.
• Production support: incident management, RCA, log analysis, troubleshooting.
• Observability tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, Azure Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus.
• AI-driven development tooling (GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot) usage.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable designs and delivery plans.

Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 10-12+ years of full-stack application development experience, with strong hands-on delivery using Java and React JS.
• Advanced expertise in Core Java and Java 8/11/17+, including object-oriented programming, collections, concurrency, exception handling, JVM fundamentals, and performance optimization.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, dependency injection, configuration management, and RESTful API development.
• Proven experience designing microservices-based, cloud-native, distributed, and highly available applications.
• Strong React.js experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, reusable components, state management, hooks, routing, responsive design, and API integration.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, API-first design, enterprise integration patterns, domain-driven design concepts, and commonly used software design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle or DB2, including SQL, data modeling, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience with MongoDB or Azure Cosmos DB; familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, or ChromaDB is beneficial.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or OpenShift for containerized application deployment and support.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure or an equivalent cloud platform, including deployment, monitoring, security, scalability, resiliency, and cost-aware engineering.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven or Gradle, SonarQube, and related DevOps tooling.
• Strong automated testing experience using JUnit, Mockito, API testing tools, and React/frontend testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, JWT, secure API development, secrets handling, secure coding, and vulnerability remediation.
• Strong production support experience covering incident management, root-cause analysis, log analysis, troubleshooting, defect resolution, problem management, and performance optimization.
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Azure Application Insights, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Experience with application modernization, monolith-to-microservices transformation, cloud migration, and integration with legacy enterprise platforms.
• Ability to translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs, implementation plans, and measurable delivery outcomes.
• Experience applying an AI-Driven Software Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) with enterprise-approved tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot for coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and delivery acceleration.
• AI Skill: Expected to demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools as part of their day-to-day responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to demonstrated proficiency and regular use of enterprise-approved AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other approved GenAI platforms to support delivery outcomes.
• AI Applied Productivity: Leverage AI tools to enhance coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making workflows. Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and features and apply them to improve delivery quality and velocity.

Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000 a year
