Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a remote Senior Java Developer to join their team. Summary: They are currently building heavy Java springboot microservices specifically using functional programming (this person must have an understanding the concepts around functional programming) Cassandra/Oracle database and hosted in GCP. The Senior Java Developer will be tasked with building new services from scratch. This team's codebase is lambdas and streams heavy, so they need to be very confident in all the new java 17+ features.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience with Java (recently java 11 and above)
• 4+ years of experience building Java based Microservices with Springboot
• Experience with Java Lambdas and Functional Programming ( a big must)
• Experience with reactive java
• Automated testing experience (TDD)
• Experience with GCP
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and ideas effectively
• Go getter attitude who are learns and builds things on their own
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
