Sabenza IT & Recruitment seeks a Senior Expert Java Consultant to join a Mainframe-to-Cloud Migration team. You’ll help transform legacy COBOL/PL1 apps into modern Java-based cloud architectures, shaping how systems evolve into scalable cloud-ready platforms.

You will lead a cross-functional team, drive agile practices, and ensure effective tech transitions in a high-performance modernization program. This is a senior, strategic role in a dynamic, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in relevant programming language
• On premise virtualization technology expertise
• Experience in testing (manual or automated)
• A background in web and digital project work is a plus
• Agile working experience is advantageous
• Certifications such as Scrum Master or SAFe are preferred
