Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Regional Lead Software Engineer III for Pricing & Quoting Technology in New York. You will oversee the pricing architecture, roadmap execution, and the RFQ workflow used by Sales and Trading, aligning regional work with global strategy.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong Java or C#, SQL (Oracle), Unix, and hands-on CI/CD expertise. You will mentor peers, drive agile delivery, and contribute to future architecture while collaborating with business

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technology experience.
• Proficient in Java or C# with full stack capabilities.
• SQL experience, preferably Oracle.
• Unix knowledge.
• Proficient in writing unit, integration and acceptance tests.
• Comfortable in an agile working environment.
• Self-starter and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
• Mentors other software engineers and coach team on CI/CD practices and automating tool stack.
• Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Automates manual release activities.
• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
• Development of a thorough understanding of our entire technology stack.
• Design and development of new features in the existing java server stack, C# client and QZ.
• Contribution to future design and architecture.
• Planning work in an agile manner with other team members.
• Writing acceptance tests in coordination with QA.
• Communication with our business and platform partners.
• Improvement and development of our CI pipeline and deployment strategies.
