Job summary

Techgene Solutions is seeking a Java Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade backend services in a modern distributed environment. You will build scalable microservices with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and relational databases, while solving production issues in an Agile team.

The role emphasizes independent ownership, collaboration across teams, and adherence to secure coding practices, testing, and DevOps awareness to deliver reliable software at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience within enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with: JPA/Hibernate, Git/version control, Unit testing with JUnit/Mockito.
• Debugging and performance troubleshooting; secure coding practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently in Agile teams.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications and microservices.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.
• Enhance and modernize existing applications while maintaining stability and performance.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and production issues.
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and performance improvements.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to development standards.
