BankUnited is seeking a Back-End Developer to design and implement Java-based microservices that deliver value to customers. You will collaborate with product owners, other developers and QA to shape features, ensure quality, scalability and security across services.

The role requires 4–6 years of back-end Java experience, solid understanding of distributed systems, SOA and RESTful APIs, with exposure to Spring Core & Spring Cloud.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required.
• 4-6 years of back-end Java development experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and SOA required.
• Nice to have Spring Cloud, Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop back-end Java components to deliver customer value.
• Collaborate with product owner, developers and QA to shape the product.
• Ensure solutions are tested, maintainable, secure and perform well.
• Troubleshoot and debug code; provide peer reviews.
• Document new and modified functionality clearly.
• Drive continuous improvement with peers and stakeholders.
