Job summary

ASM Tech Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer in Sunnyvale, CA. You will design and implement microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka to support real-time event processing.

Responsibilities include building secure REST APIs, optimizing SQL queries, and deploying applications with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience with Generative AI/LLM features and cloud platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Experience building microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Kafka and real-time event processing.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Security and JWT for securing APIs.
• Proficient in SQL and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and REST APIs using Java + Spring Boot.
• Build Kafka producers and consumers for real-time event processing.
• Secure applications with Spring Security/JWT and write/optimize SQL queries.
• Deploy and manage apps with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes in a DevOps stack.
• Explore integration of Generative AI/LLM features into backend services.
