Job summary

RE Partners in Irving, TX is building a new engineering team for a global financial institution to launch a deployment security initiative. We’re seeking a Senior Java Engineer who loves performance, scalable systems, and making strong architectural decisions from day one.

You’ll design and build low-latency backend systems in Java, develop REST APIs and microservices, and collaborate with DevOps, Product, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and microservices experience.
• Experience building low-latency, high-throughput applications.
• Hands-on with MongoDB.
• Experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to make opinionated technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build low-latency, high-throughput backend systems using Java.
• Develop scalable REST APIs and microservices.
• Work with Spring Boot, MongoDB, AWS, OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Build and optimize systems where performance, reliability, and security matter.
