Qualifications

• Senior-level experience building enterprise backend applications in Java.
• Proficient in Kotlin or quickly productive in Kotlin.
• Strong Kafka experience with producer/consumer implementations.
• Extensive RESTful API design, development, and support.
• Experience with relational databases like Oracle/PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra; large-scale apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise backend apps using Java/Kotlin.
• Design, build, and support high-volume RESTful APIs.
• Create Kafka producer and consumer solutions for event processing.
• Contribute to platform modernization for scalability and performance.
• Support production systems and deliver new functionality.
• Design, test, and deploy production-ready software.
• Work with relational and distributed databases to support apps.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders in Agile environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
• Deliver high-quality code with minimal supervision.
