Job summary

Artech L.L.C. is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer for a high-impact project in Charlotte, NC.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend applications within a cloud-native, enterprise setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver critical features and improvements. The role requires deep Java expertise, strong OpenShift and Oracle Database experience, and a solid track record in the Banking/Financial Services domain, with a focus on microservices

Qualifications

This role offers the opportunity to work on critical system enhancements and new feature development while gaining exposure to a niche vendor screening platform and modern cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Java backend applications.
• Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners (PO), Business Analysts (BA), QA teams, Technical Architects, and Project Leads.
• Develop scalable, high-performance solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Contribute to system enhancements, new feature development, and production support.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices.
