Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.

• Advanced knowledge in Java, microservices, Kafka, AWS cloud, PostgreSQL or similar technologies.
• Experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and setting team expectations for validating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to business and teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools and AI-assisted automation to improve value at scale.
• Leads decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
• Acts as SME in one or more focus areas and promotes firmwide frameworks and practices.
