Job summary

JPMorganChase in Tampa is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Fraud Prevention Technology group. You will work as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver secure, scalable financial software, applying core Java and AWS skills across multiple domains in support of the firm’s objectives.

You will contribute to architecture, code quality, and production readiness, leveraging enterprise AI-assisted tools while ensuring secure, resilient systems in a large enterprise

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on Java development and AWS in a large corporate environment.
• Experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions with design, development, and debugging.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code with robust algorithms.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity.
