Job summary

JPMorganChase within Business Banking in CCB is seeking a Software Engineer III to join an agile team and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable manner. You will design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions across multiple domains to support the firm’s objectives.

Responsibilities include producing secure production code, leveraging enterprise AI tools for code generation and testing, creating architecture artifacts, and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience building cloud-native applications in AWS using Spring Boot, Kafka, SQS, ECS and Aurora Postgres.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and debugging with non-routine problem solving.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms across systems.
• Leverages enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and automated testing.
• Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to improve automation value.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints are met by code.
• Gathers and analyzes large data sets to visualize and report for continuous improvement.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and architecture.
