Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Java/AWS Backend to join our hybrid team. This role focuses on designing and delivering backend RESTful services in a microservices framework, while mentoring developers and leading cross-functional Agile teams.

Hybrid work options include office presence with onsite two days per week. The ideal candidate brings strong Java 17+ and Spring Boot skills, cloud experience (AWS/Azure), and a track record of delivering scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or 10+ years in lieu of degree.
• Strong Java 17+ and Spring Boot REST API development experience.
• Experience deploying on public clouds such as AWS or Azure, with messaging systems like Kinesis, SQS, SNS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Event Hub.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend RESTful APIs using microservices architecture.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership and code reviews for the team.
• Lead development and support groups in Agile project teams.
• Resolve complex application and technical problems with robust solutions.
• Drive delivery of valuable business features while maintaining coding standards.
• Create documentation and guides for operations and users.
