Job summary

Citi in Chennai is seeking a Java Application Technical Lead to own strategic initiatives within the Cyber Defense domain. This hybrid role requires strong technical leadership, architecture support, and the ability to drive AI solutions and set templates for development teams across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include overseeing major projects, coordinating with Architecture teams, assessing risk, ensuring timely delivery, and mentoring Tech staff toward high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in technology development and design.
• Expertise in Java Tech Stack (Java, JDK, JSP, Spring Boot), Database, Mainframe, OS, Cloud, Angular, Information Security and Cyber Security.
• Infra expertise of the systems: WebSphere, Tomcat, JBPM, Solace, MQ, Oracle, RHEL, NDM, SonarQube.
• Ability to understand and contribute to infra layout, architecture designs, system vulnerability resolutions.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee key cyber defense initiatives.
• Support Architecture in defining best practices and methodologies.
• Drive AI solutions and establish templates for development teams.
• Own complete lifecycle of technology solutions, including third-party inputs.
• Manage Tech Staff to achieve goals.
• Review proposed solutions and provide technical oversight.
• Perform risk assessments and guide decisions.
• Drive initiatives to timely, high-quality closures.
• Demonstrate technical leadership and multi-tasking.
• Lead technical POCs and template creation.
