Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience with Java.
• 3+ years building REST-based services with API development focus.
• Experience with Spring Boot for API development.
• Experience with event-driven and messaging frameworks such as Kafka.
• Experience containerizing APIs using OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Agile team experience with sprint-based delivery.
• Differentiators: regulated industry exposure, cloud-native modernization, mentoring, and front-end knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues through troubleshooting.
• Conduct systems analysis and suggest policy/procedure improvements.
• Prepare and install complex solutions by defining system specs and standards.
• Follow the software development lifecycle and participate in design reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and review teammates' code.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders in Agile sprints.
