Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced back-end engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based services and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features from concept to production, while upholding clean code and robust testing practices.

You'll leverage Spring Boot, RESTful design, and modern patterns to optimize performance and reliability, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional back-end development with Java.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM (Hibernate, JPA).
• Knowledge of Git version control.
• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
