Job summary

The Amatriot Group in Woodlawn, MD seeks a Senior Java Developer with Angular to design, develop, and enhance software using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, REST APIs and related technologies. The role includes building user interfaces, microservices, and web services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and React.
Extensive design and programming experience with Java and JEE technologies.
Extensive hands-on experience with UI frameworks such as Angular.
Experience working on Agile projects and strong knowledge of Agile terminology and tools.
Experience designing high-throughput and low-latency systems using Java and Angular.
Experience developing applications using Single-Page Application architecture.
Strong experience with Java, Angular 9 and above, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications onto AWS with PostgreSQL.
Hands-on design and development experience with microservices and RESTful APIs.
Experience with web services technologies, including XML, JAXP, JAXB, JAX-WS, AXIS, JERSEY, JSON, CXF, REST, and SOAP.
Experience with security technologies including LTPA and OAuth2/JWT.
Experience with JEE technologies, including Struts, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, JPA, Hibernate, SOAP/RESTful, XML, DB2, Tomcat, and WebSphere.
Experience with static code analyzers such as SonarQube and addressing recommended technical debt.
Experience with automated unit testing, mocking frameworks, TDD, and BDD using Cucumber.
Experience coding responsive web pages with cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with CI tools including Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, Jira, Nexus, Maven, SonarQube, Fortify, UrbanCode Deploy.
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of security vulnerabilities in web applications and mitigation methods.
Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMock.

Responsibilities

Design and develop software applications using the Twelve-Factor App methodology.
Develop applications using Angular, Java, REST APIs, and Spring Boot.
Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot, Java, and RESTful architecture.
Design high-throughput, low-latency systems for large concurrent requests.
Design scalable solutions and single-page applications.
Develop SOAP-based web services using JAX-WS, Axis, and WSDL.
