Job summary

Nintendo of America in Redmond, WA, is seeking a senior Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer to ensure product quality and manufacturability across the lifecycle. You will provide mechanical design solutions, support production and packaging teams, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 6+ years in high-volume environments, experience with ISTA testing, MES familiarity, and proficiency in SolidWorks and Agile PLM.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related engineering experience.
• Experience in high-volume automated and manual production environments (MES familiarity).
• Experience with ISTA packaging testing protocols.
• Strong statistical analysis and process control skills.
• Advanced data analysis in Microsoft Excel; SolidWorks and Agile PLM proficiency.
• US work eligibility; JLPT N1 or equivalent language capability; passport valid.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to ensure products are manufactured/packaged per specifications.
• Conduct production part performance evaluations and provide engineering solutions.
• Support on-site production, packaging, and quality control teams.
• Oversee part specifications and packaging/production specs.
• Lead defect analysis and corrective actions to reduce costs.
• Drive cross-departmental improvements and documentation for new processes.
• Design, test and implement tools to support production operations.
• Provide guidance and training to junior Manufacturing Engineers.
