Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
• Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Responsibilities

• Provides primary contact for employees and vendors and coordinates workflow.
• Supports scheduling, training, and ongoing staff education.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation, state, and federal requirements.
• Reviews drug use data and implements inventory changes.
• Identifies root causes of program failures and develops solutions.
• Oversees restocking of IV fluid carts and drug storage orderliness.
• Performs audits of drug storage, compounding practices, and environmental controls.
• Maintains records for special drug distribution and investigates narcotic discrepancies.
• Mentors and guides team members, including coaching and scheduling.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
