Job summary

Metric Engineering is seeking a CADD Technician to join our Traffic Operations team in Lake Mary, FL. In this role, you will develop transportation-related construction plans using CADD while ensuring compliance with design criteria and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of roadway design utilizing FDOT or similar CADD standards.
• Experience using CADD for calculations and design plans preparation.
• Overall knowledge of project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare transportation-related construction plans using CADD.
• Ensure plan preparation follows the appropriate design criteria.
• Calculate project quantities as part of the Plans Production process.

Skills

Knowledge of highway engineering design and terminology

Skilled in use of CADD for design plans preparation

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Education

2 years or more of related experience designing highway projects
